Why should you donate to Puppy Love Rescue?
This months reason to help!

In his last days, Ziggy was an older diabetic,
almost blind foster dog.

ZiggyMy best memory with Ziggy was when we first got him, his eyes scared me his fur was icky. Then we got him washed up and got to know him and he turned out to be another part of my life! He gave me lots of laughs chasing the cats that were right next to him, not stopping until he found the cat two feet away from him. Wondering what in the world he was doing. He made me think about what it would be like to be in his place and it just made me want to love him even more. I don’t think that Ziggy would have been the same dog he was if he didn’t have his conditions. Wondering what it would be like being pocked every time I ate; not being able to see what was going on around me, not being able to eat any sweets. It would have made life a whole lot harder for me, which made me show him extra love and attention. Being able to have some one...or some dog in my life that had it harder than me made me not think of me when I was around him. It made me want to know what it felt like, feel what it felt like, but even if I was him I wouldn’t be able to see like him! Even thought Ziggy wasn’t with me for longer than a year we got really close to him. The times I had with Ziggy made it way harder to let him go. No Ziggy wasn’t the healthiest, but he was the best companion. Looking at pictures makes me want to cry but I can’t because that would just make me feel even worse. If I could of made the decision of letting him go at the point he was at I would have made the same choice because even though I loved him as much as I loved him, it was even harder to make him stay here and suffer. Yes I wish he didn’t have to go but it was his time and I except that.

R.I.P. Ziggy...we love you!!!
